Hi ,

In CCF , there used to be a config entry to change the mode of desktop to fit as Toolbar. I dont see it in the current version of CCA. Am i missing something.

Thanks and Regards,

In CCF 2009 Sp1 QFE, the Desktop shell API was introduced which separated the UI segments of CCF from the core engine bits. As CCF transitioned into CCA\UII the Sample Shells were rewritten in WPF based on the Desktop Shell SDK.

As part of that transition the toolbar example was dropped.

However, the key item here is that the Desktop Shell separates the UI functions from the Core UII Compositing engine.

You can build any sort of UI you choose, for example, full shell’s like CCA, Jump Lists ( windows 7 taskbars type) , Tool Bars, TaskTray … whatever you need to do .

The UII Desktop Shell SDK is designed for presentation flexibility.
