CCD?

About a year or so back, there was another desktop app used with CRM that was referred to as CCD. It was a Microsoft-affiliated app, not the one currently produced by Avaya.

Has anyone heard of it? Any links you can share?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Hi Rob,

Not sure about CCD; But I know there is this solution from MS called CCF (Customer care Framework - I belive), Which works almost in the same way how CCA works.. The major difference is, CRM is not a pre-requisite over there, All the Hosted applications configuration and other stuff are based on SQL Server configs.. I think there was a link still exist in Microsfot site for this...

CCD = Customer Care Desktop is an MCS ( Microsoft consulting services ) offering built on UII\CCA. Avanade and a few other partners have done similar implementations.

CCF is the predecessor to UII\CCA. CCF was terminated with the advent of UII\CCA.
UII was originally the core system from CCF ( updated of course ) re-platformed on CRM. CCA is the examples from CCF.

Hope that clarifies it.

Thanks Matt. So the CCD is just a customization of CCA/UII. Good to know.
