Process ID of IE processes from UD

Hi Techies,

Is there any way to get the process IDs of IE windows that are opening from UD ?

I need to track these to close the UD gracefully in case of any unexpected errors. Now its a big task in our team to close all those IE windows manually incase of unexpected errors..

Any suggestions please??

There is not really a good way to do this as IE can create new processes pretty much at will to deal with security realm changes and memory limits. My advice (at this point) would be to build a poller that is looking for new IE instances and query them for which process started them. That is your best indicator to catch processes added by the IE instance started by agent desktop. We are looking at a better way to deal with this in conjunction with the IE team.

Thanks for that MattB, But the difficulty over here is Querying the IE Processes to know which process started them.. In fact, we tried to see the Parent process some thing like that but no success in that way too..

Do you suggest any other way of querying to know which process started those IEs?
