We are integrating CCA with on-premise CRM 2011. The purpose of this integration is to log phone calls made via lync to our customers as a phone call activity on the contact record in dynamics CRM. This is our scenario.

And also integrate the whole functionality "answer call -> open session" and stuff like that Integrating the Lync client as Hosted Application.
