Have you tried re-installing Internet Explorer??

Try adding the web urls in the Intranet zone where the protected mode is off & let us know.

Hi Jimmy,

Is this issue resolved ? If yes, How and what was the route cause ?

We are facing the same kind of issue (UD Crashes with FATAL Error) in below scenarios (most of the times we found this behavior).
  1. When any of those session based apps (web apps) shows alert/javscript error message, user didn't take any action on that message and then he starts opening another session
  2. When the physical memory "Available" is very less (~ 100MB) and the "Free" memory hits almost 0
  3. When UD was left opened (untouched) from quite a long time (roughly around 2 - 3 hours) and then start accessing/navigating betweent tabs.
Any thouthgts please?

Note: We are using CRM 2011 with Rollup 13, CCA R2, Windows 7 machine with IE 8

Thanks in advance !!

Srikanth

Hi Srikanth.

I'm still trying but it is really very discouraging. I tried to open a new project and create a new AgentDesktop but still there is much to be done and the base template is completely different from the finished project. I'm still working ... but discouraged.

can you add this block to your app.config? you may need to merge it with an existing block. :
  <system.diagnostics>
    <trace autoflush="true"/>
    <sources>
      <source name="Microsoft.Practices.CompositeUI.EventBroker.EventTopic" switchName="EventTopicSwitch" switchType="System.Diagnostics.SourceSwitch">
        <listeners>
          <add name="console" type="System.Diagnostics.DefaultTraceListener"/>
          <add name="fileListener"/>
          <remove name="Default"/>
        </listeners>
      </source>

      <source name="Microsoft.Uii.Common.Logging" switchName="Microsoft.Uii.Common.Logging" switchType="System.Diagnostics.SourceSwitch">
        <listeners>
          <add name="console" type="System.Diagnostics.DefaultTraceListener"/>
          <add name="fileListener"/>
          <remove name="Default"/>
        </listeners>
      </source>

    </sources>
    <switches>
      <!--
    Possible values for switches: Off, Error, Warning, Information, Verbose
        Verbose: includes Error, Warning, Info, Trace levels
        Information: includes Error, Warning, Info levels
        Warning:      includes Error, Warning levels
        Error:        includes Error level
-->
      <add name="EventTopicSwitch" value="Verbose"/>
      <add name="Microsoft.Uii.Common.Logging" value="Verbose"/>

    </switches>
    <sharedListeners>
      <add name="fileListener" type="System.Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener" initializeData="AgentDesktop.txt"/>
      <add name="eventLogListener" type="System.Diagnostics.EventLogTraceListener" initializeData="CCA"/>
    </sharedListeners>
  </system.diagnostics>
This will provide a lot more information as to help trouble shoot.
