Fit an External Hosted application within IAD

Dec 31, 2010 at 4:53 PM

Hi,

I have created a demo .Net application for a customer demo. Whilst hosting the applicaiton within IAD, I realised that the external app is not fully contained within the IAD main panel. It cuts a part of its height and the user cannot see the window in its entirety.

When I tried to play with the optimal height/width in the Hosted Application settings, if I specify a height greater than that IAD can accomodate UII opens the applicaiton in a new window. Alsom It doesnt show any scroll bars for the application if it doesnt fit the window.

Does anyone know if we can achieve this and how?

Aman

Just set the Min values for width and height in the settings, leave the optimal height and width blank for now…
Have you defined this as an external app?

Hi Matt,

Tried setting the Min values and left the optimal values blank but no joy. The screen is still cut short of its original height.

Yes the app is defined as external.

Any other ideas?

Are you using SetParent Hosting or Dynamic Positioning?
If your are using SetParent, Try Dynamic Positioning

Tried Dynamic Positioning but doesnt work as expected. Looks like someone has pasted the external application on top of the agent desktop. The external applicaiton window spans out of the IAD window. Is this expected?
