Can not access CCA Settings and error with Agent Desktop

I installed CCA on my VPC and am having troubles with, I hope, last step - can not access the CCA:

  • through CRM Settings page I can reach the UII Settings but when trying to open each feature I receive an error with general explanation (An Error has occured. Try this action again...)
  • when trying to run the Agent Desktop application I receive a general error again - Server was unable to process request.

I have iE version 8.0.6001.18702 and I set the UII permissions (both agent and administrator) to my administrator user.

I don't know where to look for LOG files.

Based on the error your seeing, I would appear that the UII Server components didn’t install correctly.

Please rerun the installer and uninstall the CRM Components, then Reinstall them, pay carful attrition to the message at the end of the installing process… Success and fail use very similar wording.
