CTI Simulation using Softphone with CCA not working

I am trying to simulate the CTI for Agent Desktop, i have created a Contact with the Phone number and name existing in the Softphone, When i dial the number 3331 it is not recognized in the Agent desktop CTI Panel. The CTI Panel on the top remains disabled. Am i missing any setting here? the CTICallControl already exists in the Hosted Apllications. Please help me knowing whether i need to add a UII Action for the same or make any other change to get this work.

Hi,

Did you add the values   

   <add key="MachineName" value="Jane (3331)"/>    <add key="ctiType" value="2" />

to the app settings section in app.config?
