CCA Workflow Issue

Hi All,

 I m working on Customer Care Accelarator Workflow . I have added two Web hosted application CRM Contact and Case .

My task is to copy Contact First Name attribute value to the Case Title attribute using workflow . I have done certain steps which is shown in video available on internet about CCA.

My Workflow is running but not reflecting the value in Case Title attribute.

Will you give me any suggestion regarding the solution.

Did you use the acitvity set value?


When you debug you workflow you can see if you got the "contact first name"?

Hi canikrause,

 Yes I have used activity set value. What I found is when I select HAT Adapter in CRM Contact Application it is not showing CRM Contact in Agent Desktop.

Can you suggest is it  necessary to select  HAT in workflow or any options u have ?

Hi

I went through the document you have provide.I have done this workflow using UII debugger,its working fine.

But I want to do this by defining the workflow steps and workflow. see the attachment that I have mentioned below. Its not working with HAT,infact not showing case,contact in agent desktop.Without HAT it is showing but not reflecting the value

Hi all ,

My workflow is working successfully .Thanks canikrause.

But I obserevd my default action get neglected when I select  HAT Adapter .I checked other blogs that they have given information about it.But it is nt working in my case. Can anyone help me how to navigate to crm url,what is exact syntax for that . I m in Contact hosted application .

You try to using the navigate activity? Can you do more details for help you.

Yes I am trying to use navigate activity for CRM Contact.  I went through this blog :

But I m not clear with steps and syntax used. Also code behind  is missing. Can you help me to write for  simple navigate activity only for contact not for account without if else activity or any condition.

Scenario :

Workflow to copy Contact First Name attribute value to the Case Title attribute. When I write Contact URL in Hosting ,Shows contact in Agent desktop without session details.I filled value in contact and workflow run successfully (Note: Adapter is set To HAT). When I write URL as about:blank in Hosting ,showing blank page in Agent Desktop(Note: Adapter is set To HAT). HAT is neglecting default action written in CRM Contact in which I have given URL and query string correctly.

I hope you willl get the idea. For more please ask.

Hi MattB_MSFT , thank you  for the  post. I  implemented this method successfully . I got another way to show contact in UII . Its so helpful .

I am looking forward for  your Case creation blog. Please post as early as possible ,much needed. I also want your help to write navigate activity only for contact.

I have solved this problem.Thank you very much for your help . Using this workflow , it is showing contact details in agent desktop

And the first workflow is also creating case. But not showing details of contact i.e parent customer in case. I am working on it . Please give me suggestion regarding this if you have.
