Where do we find the CRM URLs and query string for the UUI Actions?

Hi,

I 've got the thing running and am able to launch a web app with a default UUI action.

But I can not find any documentation anywhere about which URLs and query string to use for opening up CRM screens with UUI actions: Contacs, cases, activities etc?

Where can I find this info.?

CRM's SDK provides information on how to use "URL Addressable forms and views".

You can find it here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc150850.aspx

Thanks. Yes, I know how to find the URLs for a Form. But what is the CustomerID query string? Can you please give an example of opening a contact and related cases?

The CustomerID is a UII Context key that is populated by the Example Search provider we provide with CCA. You can find the code for it in the CCA Source code directory.

How to use that, Create adapters, Hosted Controls and configure them is covered to a degree in the UII Development guide (CHM) in the UII Documentation directory.
You can see the context in the running system by building and adding in UiiDebugger ( part of the quickstarts directory ) and making it a global application.

As to your question on How to do tie in CRM windows itself, that a bit broad subject for this medium , I will see about writing up a blog post for you guys on it over the next few days..
As for something simple,

In UII admin,
Click on Hosted Applications,
Click New from the Table Menu
Fill In the Name, with a name of your choosing
Hosted Application Type should be set to Web Hosted Application
Set Display group to Mainpanel

Hosting Tab
for the URL type in about:blank
Click the SAVE icon

Still in the Hosted Application Window, Click on the UII Actions on the left menu.
Edit the Default action
Set URL to
http://<yourCRMSERVERandORGHere>/sfa/conts/edit.aspx
Set Query String to id=%CustomerID

Click Save and close the Action, and then Save and close the Hosted Application.
Apply permissions to the application if you’re not the running CCA Shell as an Admin..

Run the CCA Shell, Click search and Lookup a customer.
Once you have a customer your contact window should also open.

As I said, you can find more information about this sort of thing in the UII Development guide
